Defence industry should become a spearhead of national industry: PM Sunday, March 16, 2025 | 17:07:11 - The defense industry should serve as a spearhead of Vietnam’s national industrial sector, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said during a working session in Hanoi on Saturday with the Ministry of National Defense and other relevant ministries and sectors on the outcomes of high-tech defense industry research and production. PM Pham Minh Chinh visits a showroom displaying Viettel's high-tech industrial products. Building on last year’s achievements and experiences, he urged greater inter-agency cooperation to advise the Party and State on policies that will further modernize the defense industry to meet requirements in the new context.
